Microprinting on a 3D metal printer

Sometimes we receive orders for 3D metal printing of microscopic products. This is one such example. The parts are photographed through a microscope. Below are the dimensions of the micro gear printed on a 3D metal printer 3DLAM Mid2019.

Base diameter: 2.6мм

Gear diameter: 1.2мм

Tooth size: 0.2мм

Gear modulus: 0.1

The parts are printed of stainless steel powder for 3D metal printing (Alloy 316L) fraction 0-40um. Layer size 50um.
