Turbojet compressor 3D metal printing

3D printing of the compressor for a micro turbojet engine is performed on a 3D printer for metal 3DLAM Mid2019. The printing time is 4.5 hours. Material PH1 stainless steel. Powder of dispersion-hardening stainless steel alloy produced by Polema JSC. The powder fraction is 0-40mcm. The part has high strength and corrosion-resistant characteristics. No post-processing was performed after the 3D printing of this part.

3D printing of jet engine compressors and turbines is widely used today. Classical processing of such parts is difficult due to the complexity of the geometry and thin walls of the part.
